Hospice is not a place; it’s a philosophy of compassionate care for a person with a life-limiting illness and their family.  At Hospice Care of California we focus on affirming life by treating the patient, not the disease, through a well-managed system of care.   With pain and other symptoms under control, a person can enjoy the time they have left with the people they love.  Hospice allows patients to live each day to the fullest, while finishing the business of their lives: financial, legal, emotional, and spiritual.
