"My volunteer work ... has been more rewarding than I could have imagined."
— Volunteer

Our volunteers are truly the “heart of hospice,” and are an essential part of the team. A hospice volunteer is a specially trained individual who provides assistance to patients, their families, and those experiencing grief.

There is an extensive training program that prepares our volunteers to provide support and companionship to patients and families. Volunteers also assist in the office with clerical tasks such as mailings, filing and special events.
